Tonight we celebrated
Aiden's FIRST Birthday. I can't believe how fast the year has gone by. I can remember the day he was born so vividly, like it was yesterday. It seems like as I get older the time goes by much quicker.. maybe because it makes me terribly sad that my boys are growing older. I have felt very sad the last few days knowing that this is it... no more FIRST birthday parties. But, I have to keep perspective, there will be lots more
firsts for my kids. It's been hard knowing that I am not going to have any more kids. I have been trying to talk Jared into getting his
vasectomy reversed, but he's not going for it.
We had some family over tonight for pizza and cake. I feel bad, the last two kids we had big parties for their first birthday, poor
Aiden. Oh well, I am sure he won't be deprived of anything. He loved eating his birthday cake. He actually threw a fit when I took it away from him finally. I think he would have eaten the entire piece, but I actually wanted him to sleep tonight. We are going to California in the morning and taking the kids to Disneyland and California Adventure.
Aiden is such a sweet little boy. He has the most amazing little smile. I don't capture it on camera very much because he smiles for me, but then when the red flash light on my camera goes on, he stops smiling and just glares at the camera. He has started to show his personality traits more. He actually has started throwing fits too. He gets very angry at his brothers or parents when we take something away from him. He throws himself down on the ground or arches his back and screams. Its
kind of cute though.
HAPPY FIRST BIRTHDAY
AIDEN. We love you!
Aiden wasn't remotely
intersted in his presents. As you can see, he is actually holding my bottle of water. That is ALL he wanted to play with.

MMM Cake...

He devoured the birthday cake.

Getting ready to sing Happy Birthday!

This picture was actually taken in our trailer last week, but this is the glare he gives me most of the time when I try to take his picture.

At the Halloween party last week. He sat in his bouncy chair for over an hour just watching all the kids.
